For added coconut flavor, try brewing the coffee with coconut water. Don’t confuse the unsweetened vanilla coconut beverage with coconut milk out of a can, which is much richer. If you aren’t opposed to a little extra saturated fat with a myriad of health benefits, add 1–2 teaspoons of extra virgin coconut oil.

Mix All Ingredients

- Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and heat until piping hot.

- Dilute with water or coconut milk beverage to taste. (If you only have coconut milk out of a can on hand, use only a couple of tablespoons as it is more densely caloric.)

- To serve cold, simply combine all ingredients and pour over ice.

Notes

Brew coffee concentrate with coconut water instead of water. It makes a wonderful nectar-like coconut coffee. Combine 1 cup coffee grounds and 2 cups coconut water in a glass jar for 8–12 hours. Strain.
