ESPRESSO MARTINI

This is an elegant drink that can be enjoyed with or without the added sweetness of a chocolate liqueur such as Crème de Cacao. If you don’t want to use the Crème de Cacao, double your quantity of Kahlua.

Grand Chocolate

Chocolate and orange is a classic flavour combination and combined with bourbon and espresso, the complexity of aromas makes this drink a firm after-dinner favourite. You could try it served hot – simply take out the ice cubes.

Rummy Carolans

Sometimes sweet and warming is what you want, even from an iced cocktail. This combination of rum and Carolans with the boost of coffee flavour from the Tia Maria gives you just that – refreshment and comfort.

Port Cassis

Fortiled wines match beautifully with coffee, especially if you brew espresso from a bean that shares the same fruit characteristics. Crème de Cassis adds a layer of sweetness to round it all oh.

Cold Kirsch

Evocative of a liquid Black Forest gâteau, you could serve this drink with dark chocolate truffles or rich chocolate ice cream. Cool the espresso completely before adding the egg white, and double strain to achieve the creamy texture.

And you’ll see in this list of different types of cold/iced coffee cocktails, coffee works with everything from vodka and rum to tequila and even gin.
