Yemeni Tea is similar to the tea consumed in other Arab countries. This recipe is for milk tea, a very sweet black tea spiced with cardamom and cloves added to evaporated milk.

Add all the spices, milk and water to medium saucepan, cover with a lid. Place on stove on medium heat and prepare as follows.

Boiling Water and Tea

- Get your water boiling in a large pot.

- Once the water is boiling open your tea bags directly into the boiling liquid.

- Cook the tea for 4 mins.

Combine Ingredients & Stir

- Then add in the sugar and cardamom after you have grinded it.

- Stir everything until the sugar has dissolved then add in the ginger, cardamom, nutmeg, and cinnamon.

- Let everything boil for 12 mins then add in the milk and get everything boiling again.

Strain and Enjoy

- Let the tea cook for 3 mins then run the tea through a strainer or a sieve.

- Enjoy.
