It is voluptuous, sweet, and creamy, without an ounce of refined sugar or dairy. Medjool dates, known as the king of dates, bring on the body, natural caramel-like sweetness, and a healthy dose of nutrition. They are full of soluble and insoluble fiber, amino acids, and an array of healthy minerals. For added sweetness, use a drop of vanilla stevia.

Cardamom is divine, and if you aren’t familiar with it, we urge you to give it a try. For convenience, buy it ground, instead of in whole pod form. Cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice makes a fine substitute if you don’t care for the cardamom.

Mix All & Blend

- Combine almond milk (or coconut milk beverage if preferred) and dates in a blender.

- Starting on low and graduating to high speed, blend until the dates are fully incorporated and milk is completely smooth.

- Add coffee, vanilla extract, sea salt, cardamom, and ice cubes. Blend until frothy.

- Season to taste with more cardamom if desired. Add more ice to dilute sweetness, if desired.

- To increase sweetness, add a couple of drops of stevia to taste.
